Dealing With Stress
Have you ever met a person who is always cool, calm and collected? Well, I happen to be one of them and today I'm going to give you tips that usually keep me going.
First, I'll start by defining what stress is:
Stress is a reaction of the body in order to adapt to a difficult or dangerous situation. Stress does not exist by itself but it is produced by humans according to the way they interpret their circumstances.
Did you know that 80% of diseases are related to stress?
I know sometimes stress are inevitable, but you can usually find ways to de-stress. The situation may seem tough but you were born tougher :)
Tip #1
My favourite points being:
*Do something you enjoy- I believe I can be performing artist when I have my earphones on and the door to my room closed.
* Blocking toxic people from your life
* Get organized- I can't work well under pressure, so I try to do my assignments/tasks before the due date.
* Slow down- Take a day off to relax, sleep, or yoga.
Tip #2
Communication
Especially in marriage/ relationships- I find it better to discuss matters with your better half instead of taking issues to a 3rd party.
Always have a diary that you can jot down your feelings.
Talk to your bestie, s/he knows you well and can help you in solving problems.
Pray :)
Tip #3
Rest/Sleep
A normal human being should at least sleep for (6-7 Hours). You will wake up feeling fresh and rejuvenated.
Tip #4
Exercise
This doesn't mean that you have to hit the gym on a regular basis. You can play outside with your children, go for hikes, skip ropes, swim or dance. Your body will thank you later.
and finally
Tip #5
Supplementation
From where I come from, tea is a must in our day to day meals :) I personally like the Aloe Blossom Herbal Tea.

Evokes a warm aromatic atmosphere that puts you a restful and relaxing frame of mind.
Aroma Therapy
This is a new method I learned early this year through essential oils and so far so good.
*To your body- apply
soul- the scent
Remember the Friends series?(look for season 8 episode 13) my experience is expressed through that episode.
